Just like many of you, we are navigating changes to everyday life and doing our part to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) through social distancing. Our technology allows operating systems and services to continue running, and our ability to serve customers will not be disrupted by team members working remotely, as we are available via phone, text, and email.

Bank at your convenience, 24-hours a day – Mobile + Online Banking

  • Bank anytime, anywhere: Online and mobile banking allows you to check balances, pay bills, transfer money and more from your computer or mobile device.
  • Deposit checks by phone: Just snap a picture of the front and back to deposit endorsed checks through River City Bank’s app.

Economic Impact Payments

Economic Impact Payments, also referred to as stimulus payments, are automatic for most taxpayers.  No further action is needed by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees. To check on the status of your Economic Impact Payment visit the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) at www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment.

Are River City Bank branches open?

For the safety and health of our employees, customers, and communities, we have decided to make some changes to the hours in our retail locations. Our locations remain open Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm. Most ATMs will not be affected by these changes.

**Effective March 1, 2022, per California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidelines, the requirement that unvaccinated individuals mask in indoor public settings will move to a strong recommendation that all persons, regardless of vaccine status, continue indoor masking.

We believe these are the right steps to take to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and maintain essential banking access. We encourage our customers to use online banking and our mobile banking app for around the clock account access.

What should I do to protect my account?

While individuals and businesses around the world are coming together in response to the fast-changing COVID-19 emergency, cybercriminals are using this time to try and catch people off guard. With daily routines disrupted, it is imperative that you stay vigilant in protecting your personal and financial information. Please keep your guard up and remember some cybersecurity basics:

  • No bank, including River City Bank, will ever ask you to provide confidential banking information through an email, text, or link.
  • Double your login protection by enabling multi-factor authentication.
  • Stay protected while connected by only using secure and password protected networks.
  • Shake up your password protocol by using different passwords for each site you access.
  • When in doubt about bank communication, reach out to us at a known phone number to verify. This is true of communications you receive from other businesses or individuals, too. Perform a call back with a phone number known to you and not in the communication in question to validate the communication’s credibility prior to taking action.
  • COVID-19 related phishing emails and malicious websites are popping up. When researching the coronavirus and related topics use credible sources, such as the CDC, to obtain information.
