Doug Cook is the newest member of River City Bank’s Walnut Creek office as Senior Vice President, Business Development Officer. Doug brings more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including positions with First Republic Bank, Fremont Bank, and Mechanics Bank. Prior to joining RCB, Doug focused on developing client relationships and new business as a Senior Private Banker for Wells Fargo Private Bank in Walnut Creek. In his new role with RCB, Doug will be responsible for developing cash management and lending opportunities with real estate investors, high-net-worth individuals, and mid-size businesses with borrowing needs ranging from $1 million to $25 million or deposit relationships of $500,000 or more.

Doug will serve as the point person for both new clients and internal colleagues throughout the new business onboarding process. His core product and service offerings include Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans for both owner-occupied and investor clients, commercial and industrial (C&I) loans and lines of credit, deposit accounts, and cash management tools.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was also a member of the men’s water polo team. He then went on to receive his MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
